AtoCap patent granted in the United States

AtoCap is delighted to announce the US grant of its core patent on novel micro- and nanoencapsulation technology. This constitutes a significant milestone in the company’s development.

 

This patent would not have been possible without the passion and hard work of our founders Mohan and Eleanor and their research teams at University College London and Oxford, respectively.

The formal patent description is:

Title: Layered bodies and compositions containing them

Abstract: A layered body comprising: a core region; at least one intermediate layer disposed around the core region; and an outer layer disposed around the at least one intermediate layer, wherein at least one of the at least one intermediate layers comprises a gas, the layered body having at least one dimension, measured across the body and through the core region, of 100 μm or less.
