Alex holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics. Alex also serves on the Boards of SafetyNet Technologies, Switchee, TAB and The Tennis Foundation within the LTA. He is also Co-Founder & Director of Growth at Mustard Seed Investment.

Alex was formerly Senior Vice President at Mubadala in Abu Dhabi, Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group (New York, Chicago, Dubai offices) and investment banker at Goldman Sachs (London).

Weng is Senior Business Manager (Physical sciences & engineering) for UCL Business where she applies her expertise to university technology transfer activities from strategic IP management, marketing and licence negotiations to spin-out formation.

Before joining UCLB, Weng was a Senior Technology Transfer Manager at Oxford University’s TTO, Oxford University Innovation, working on a diverse range of both life and physical science projects over a 10-year period. Weng holds an MBA from Edinburgh University and a PhD in pharmacology from University College London.

Cristina is the Founder and CEO of Único. Único’s mission is to reduce global furniture waste and consumption of natural resources from new furniture manufacturing by offering household customers in South Africa a premium reupholstery experience at scale. Cristina holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Williams College.
